Blueprints For Pan Rack

San Remo & Dialect

"the moon rose from the mountain"
Pierangelo Bertoli Tazenda with the Festival of San Remo in 1991
(part of the song is sung in Sardinian)

"Jammo jav"
Nino D'Angelo at the Festival of San Remo 2010
(song sung in Neapolitan)

"Yanez"
Davide Van De Sfroos at the Festival of San Remo to this' years
(song in LAGHEE - dialect of Lake Como)

Just to make it clear to those who think that a region is better than the other, or that the Neapolitan dialect is the only musical tradition that has the right to be recognized, I put three songs in the recent history of Festival of San Remo STRICTLY IN DIALECT.
may not be fully intelligible to all (like the vast majority of songs in English after all - or not?), But should make us proud to have a musical heritage of this type. Or not?
