photos you are looking at were taken December 28, 2010, during the "Christmas Dinner-chicken" with my friends .... we were Pesceria, very nice little place just opened by the boyfriend of one of my dear hens! Yes: this is a review of strategic mega-ipervendutissima restaurant I mentioned a few posts ago.
I put the first picture for you to note that the enthusiastic review is not due to bonds of friendship, attempted bribery or anything, but just the fact that we eat lots of good things!
join on this post, and review of the dishes you see in the picture, both the review of the dinner that I organized here with some friends on the evening of the Epiphany and of which, unfortunately I have not even a photo because I was too busy to empty the pot!
's start with explaining the philosophy of the restaurant. The good cook Ska, every morning he gets up and goes to the market to replenish the fridge: This is why the Pesceria there is no fixed menu, but for which you will have the opportunity to eat up the best present every day on the stalls. If you are a bit too picky, maybe not right for you but I feel compelled to recommend a rehearsal dinner ... you might be pleasantly surprised!
To be fair to point out that, if you book a few days in advance you can make note of any preferences dictated by food allergies (we have a friend celiac) or diners demanding / picky: the staff will do their utmost to help you find what is required (subject to daily availability of the product!).
basic details, it's all seafood! If you are not fans, unfortunately, is not really your place ... but why not try to convert you know what you're missing! To get an idea of \u200b\u200bwhat it can offer the house found a list of dishes I have eaten / tasted under the description of each "sector", needless to say that you could find them all (and then Try them) or find one ( and then experience and let me know).
For details, obviously starting from the starters: excellent in both dinners! If you are a nice group, I suggest you order the mixed appetizer seasoned with a nice bowl of mussels ... you might start better? If there are, absolutely taste the sardines in saor (10 votes ++++++) and fresh oysters.
(NDR: combining the two dinners, I ate octopus salad, peppered mussels, sardines in saor, oysters, shrimp cocktail sauce, meatballs with potatoes and shrimp, a stew with potatoes, black olives and shrimp. .. if there was another, I would eat that too!)
Also with regard to the first, we were all pleasantly satisfied, even though I (not that I love the tomatoes) I throw myself on the plates in white, but no less good! At least once a fact, I recommend scofanarsi unashamedly a platter of spaghetti with clams! Passed with flying colors even the rice noodles with seafood and lobster ... I intend to try the chocolate version very soon!
point out that the restaurant is gearing up to serve the first gluten-free.
(NDR: combining the two dinners were tasted spaghetti with clams, spaghetti with lobster, tagliatelle with lobster, risotto with seafood, orecchiette with octopus .... I say more?)
Turning to the second I I'm almost bored to use the word "excellent"! In any case, great! Is not nothin 'to do ... the quality of the raw material is the perfect starting point of the creations of Ska! Stumble unreservedly fry - stir-fry, anchovies or other you can not try it because it's delicious, light and very greasy (and therefore the diet is not an excuse!) - And sea bream flavorings, simple and perfect! Mention onorissimo vote and 10 of the strudel +++++++ bass and herbs also perfect as a starter.
(NDR: combining the two dinners, I brushed strudel herbs and sea bass, sea bream with herbs, grilled lobster, fried anchovies, sardines and prawns grilled with citrus ... from fainting!)
conclude with sweets, although considering the portions were not as "ini": I'm addicted to the tiramisu which takes 11 votes for the office, but try sample one of the chocolate cake ... "Death chocolate" is not called so random! And do not forget the pie! If you are in so many, I advise you to order one of each and divide ... and maybe do it again!
For more healthy, seasonal fruit available (for now tangerines and dried fruits, with the spring who knows ...)
Among the qualities I remember also a good selection of wines, mostly white, but without neglecting some good red wine, the ability of the greediest of requiring a whole lobster menu and the company of the chef who is often present in the room. A must point out that the bread (not the sticks, but I think we can make you a good reason) the cake which often magically find yourself on the table, pasta, desserts (cakes is that those on the spoon) and jams are homemade. A must tell you that they are very good and that products such as "Chocolate Bomb" and the Tiramisu can be addictive!
Among the few drawbacks are the difficulty of finding parking in the area over the weekend (preferably in weeks) and the limited number of places so I suggest to always make a phone call and reserve.
Needless to say, I'm already planning a third outlet with other friends ... I mean making new photos but if you want to stop looking and start to eat, we meet here:
